What is the Winter Joining Bonus?

To support our clients and reward new staff during this busy period, we are offering a cash bonus to new HCAs who register with us and hit specific hour targets.

Depending on how much you work, you can earn:

  • £500 Full-Time Bonus: For completing 400 hours (approx. 3–4 long shifts per week).
  • £250 Part-Time Bonus: For completing 200 hours (approx. 2 long shifts per week).

This is our way of saying thank you for stepping up during the winter months.

A Step-by-Step Guide

We’ve designed this scheme to be straightforward, but speed and reliability are key. Here is the path to earning your bonus:

1. Apply During the Window

Starts by submitting your registration form between Friday, 28 November 2025, and Friday, 9 January 2026. If you have been thinking about joining an agency, now is the time!

2. Get “Signed Off” Quickly

To remain eligible for the bonus, you must become fully compliant and “signed off” (ready to work) within 4 weeks of your application date. This includes returning your references, completing mandatory training, and finalising your AccessNI/DBS checks. Our recruitment team will help you through this, but we need you to be responsive!

3. Complete Your Hours 

Once you are signed off, your personal 10-week qualifying period begins. This is your window to work your shifts and rack up those hours.

  • You can work mixed shift patterns to suit your life.
  • You manage your availability via the Leadcare App.

4. Claim Your Reward

Once you have hit your 200 or 400-hour target, simply email us to claim your bonus. It’s that simple.
