We are delighted to announce our intention to recruit a Deputy Nurse Manager for our growing Nursing Agency. This position is perfect for anyone with prior experience leading a Nursing Team, and/or experience working within a Nursing Agency

Minimum Criteria: 5 Years Post Registration experience with a minimum of 3 years acute hospital experience.

Desirable Criteria: Ability to evidence experience in Leadership and Management within a Nursing Team. Evidence of post graduate Leadership or Management course.

Role Responsibilities:

Work alongside the Nurse Manager and lead the Registered Nursing Team to strive to provide excellence in healthcare.

Work with a highly motivated team with aim to uphold the company’s values and vision for the future.

Lead the Nursing team and assist in managing the day-to-day operational activities within the Nursing Agency.

Positively engage with Service Users, Service Providers, Staff and Patients to ensure an ongoing robust review of service delivery, its impacts and follow-up actions required.

Participate in Governance checks e.g. Compliance/Training and NMC.

Facilitate Clinical Supervision and Annual appraisal of Staff.

Write, review, and update Clinical Policies and Risk Assessments as appropriate to individuals or the service.

Participate in Quality Improvement projects and Audits that will enhance the service provided by the Nursing Agency.

Deal with and manage complaints, issues or concerns that may arise.

Support and nurture the Leadcare Recruitment team and enable them to develop and progress as accountable, confident, and competent professionals.

Pay Rates: starting £32,000-36,000 depending on experience
