*Joining Bonus Terms & Conditions (£500/£200)
The aim of these Terms & Conditions is to make our Joining Bonus as straightforward as possible.
1) These Terms & Conditions relate to Leadcare Recruitment’s Joining Bonus, which runs from Tuesday, 15th October 2024 to Friday, 29th November 2024 (the start and end dates by which applications – completed in full – must be received by the Agency. See section 5 below for full Joining Bonus eligibility criteria).
2) The Joining Bonus is available to any ‘new’ Nurse who registers with Leadcare Recruitment on or before the deadline of Friday, 29th November 2024. A ‘new’ Nurse is defined as one who has never previously been registered with the Agency. Nurses seeking to re-join Leadcare after a period of inactivity may be eligible to receive the Joining Bonus. Cases will be reviewed on an individual basis at Leadcare’s discretion. Leadcare’s decision will be final. For more information, contact us on info@leadcarerecruitment.com.
3) Leadcare Recruitment reserve the right to amend, replace, or terminate this bonus scheme at any time and at the Agency’s absolute discretion.
4) These Terms & Conditions are separate and distinct from the Terms & Conditions of Engagement entered into by Agency Nurses upon registration with Leadcare Recruitment.
5) All Joining Bonus eligibility criteria must be met to receive the Joining Bonus. The eligibility criteria is as follows:
a) Application Form
The Nurse must successfully complete Leadcare Recruitment’s application form and registration process – in full – by the deadline of Friday, 29th November 2024. Our registration process is fast and efficient, and our team offer all Nurses joining the Agency full support in completing the registration process. Find out more about our registration process.
b) Completion of Shifts – £500 Joining Bonus
The Nurse must successfully complete a minimum of 20 ‘full shifts’ by Friday, 24th January 2025. Eligible shifts can be completed in any pattern e.g., standalone shifts, block bookings, etc. Note: a ‘full shift’ is defined as a full day shift or full night shift. Two half shifts equal one full shift e.g., an AM shift, PM shift, or twilight (TW) shift. The bonus will be payable on successful completion of a minimum of 20 ‘full shifts’ by Friday, 24th January 2025, inclusive.
c) Completion of Shifts – £200 Joining Bonus
The Nurse must successfully complete a minimum of 12 ‘full shifts’ by Friday, 24th January 2025. Eligible shifts can be completed in any pattern e.g., standalone shifts, block bookings, etc. Note: a ‘full shift’ is defined as a full day shift or full night shift. Two half shifts equal one full shift e.g., an AM shift, PM shift, or twilight (TW) shift. The bonus will be payable on successful completion of a minimum of 12 ‘full shifts’ by Friday, 24th January 2025, inclusive.
6) Nurses are unable to claim both the £200 Joining Bonus and the £500 Joining Bonus. Based on the number of ‘full shifts’ completed, Nurses will be eligible to claim either the £200 Joining Bonus for completing 12 ‘full shifts’, or the £500 Joining Bonus for completing 20 ‘full shifts’, by Friday, 24th January 2025.
7) Leadcare Recruitment is not responsible for the availability of shifts for a given week. Nurses registered with the Agency are encouraged to ensure their availability is kept up to date in the Leadcare App so shift bookings can be made as quickly as possible when the Agency is made aware of available shifts. Agency Nurses are also encouraged to consider working shifts in different locations/HSCNI Trusts, where possible.
8) The cancelling of shifts will null Joining Bonus eligibility. In extenuating circumstances, the cancellation of one shift may be permitted at the discretion of the Agency. The Nurse will still be required to complete the 12/20 ‘full shifts’ by Friday, 24th January 2025 to claim any Joining Bonus. Only one joining Bonus can be claimed by each Nurse.
9) The onus is on the Nurse to inform Leadcare Recruitment that the above criteria have been met in order to claim the Joining Bonus. All eligible Joining Bonus payments must be claimed by Friday, 18th April 2025.
10) Payment of the Joining Bonus will be subject to normal tax and NI deductions and will be paid via bank transfer only.
11) Leadcare Recruitment reserve the right to:
a) Vary the Terms & Conditions of the Joining Bonus at any time and at its absolute discretion.
b) Discontinue or terminate the Joining Bonus without having to pay any outstanding claims not yet submitted, and/or to introduce an alternative/replacement scheme, without the requirement to compensate or inform Agency Nurses in advance.
